Synopsis |
The main character, Gam Jimin, is an ordinary high
school student who spends his school life longing for his youth. One day, he visits a well that is said to grant
wishes with his classmate Cheon Yulli, whom he met through an online mystery
forum that he frequented as a hobby. Jimin meets Seol Geumhwa, a mysterious
girl, and experiences a strange incident involving the well and finds out
about the existence of ghosts. After, there is a chain reaction of fainting spells
among the students who fall unconscious with their eyes wide open. As Jimin,
Yulli, and Geumhwa spend time together, the ghost of a murdered girl named
Kim Minji appears at night and indiscriminately steals the left leg of a
passerby. Jimin finds himself drawn to Geumhwa in particular. Geumhwa is the daughter of the shaman Chohwa, the
heir of the Mu lineage passed down from the Silla period. Geumhwa was trained
as a shaman since childhood but ran away from home because she refused to
become a shaman. Unbeknownst to her, her mother watches over her from afar.
She intends to solve the recent strange phenomenon through Geumhwa. In the
end, after spending time with Jimin, Geumhwa declares she will not follow
