Synopsis

The Korean Empire, where the royal family has lost power due to the schemes of politicians and traitors prevail. Lee Myung, the 34th sovereign of the Korean Empire, wanted to change this reality but lacked the most important thing: power.

Lee Myung, swinging his spear like crazy to vent the anger in his heart, comes upon the rare opportunity to Awaken as a Hunter, and runs straight into a dangerous dungeon to escape his shackles as a figurehead king.

Starting by catching mouse monsters that appear in the dungeon, a world full of weak meat, Lee Myung begins his efforts to escape the evil influence of the traitor group the Magukdang, who have exclusive control of the Empires financial chains.

Lee Myung, using his own skills as a hunter and creating precious ties with loyalists such as Il Jimae and Il Kkeokjeong, takes a step closer to uncovering the identities of those hiding within the royal family and eating away at the Korean Empire.

In the end, Lee Myung, with his ever-growing power and the strong support of versatile loyalists, punishes the traitors, restores lost territories to the monsters, and regains his royal authority.

Furthermore, Lee Myung uses the power of the government, the imperial family, and the Hunter Federation to save his people in a crisis, turning the Korean Empire into the only safe power in the world just before its collapse.
