dreamer in dangerous situations) Former national curling player. With the motto ‘life is
about solitude!’ as a rule of life, men and women of all ages live
in a state of social distancing and become genies, project agents of the
Dream Meeting project. Na Hyena (30’s,
Female, Dream Architect – Creates all the
imagery needed for the Dream Meetings) A hospice nurse. She passionately performs both her
nurse and genie duties with a strong sense of duty. At first, she and Hosan
are at odds with each other, but their relationship slowly develops into love
as they get to know each other. Lim Jaesin (40’s, Male,
Dream Guide – Finds the dream
guest inside the consciousness and guides them to the dream owner) Doctor at Jinsaem Hospice and Hyena’s
ex-lover. Was originally the leader of the Dream Meeting project, but
suddenly left and returned to the hospital after a year. A precarious figure
who shifts between good and evil. Bang Hakjin (50’s, Male,
Dream Mediator – Runs the sleep
brainwave machine that allows the dreamer to have a Dream Meeting) Cook at Jinsaem Hospice. He hides his past as the
gangster known as ‘Great White Shark of
Garibong’ and lives as a normal restaurant cook who is good
at cutting. Has a bad relationship with Hosan. Lim
Youngsoo (70’s, Male, Dream Recruiter – Selects and implements targets for the Dream Meeting project) Director
of Jinsaem Hospice’s Treatment Center. His words and actions imply that he trusts and
supports Hyena more than his own son, Jaesin, and this only serves to fuel
Jaesin’s obsession with his dangerous desires. |

Synopsis |
National curling athlete Hosan has to do community service at Jinsaem
Hospice as punishment for assaulting one of his teammates during a fight.
However, this hospice is a special place where they fulfill the last wishes
of terminally ill patients through a project known as Dream Meetings. Hosan
is tempted to change his community service order and moves to a more
comfortable position, joining the project as an agent called a Genie. However, it is not easy to enter other people’s dreams. There are dangerous ‘shadows’ lurking in the consciousness of
each dream owner. In the process, Hosan is faced with pain in dreams and in
reality as he faces wounds he can’t tell anyone about. But he can’t give up. Hosan fell in love with
Hyena, a nurse who works with him on the Dream Meeting project. Although he
becomes rivals with the doctor Jaesin, Hyena’s ex-lover, in dreams and reality,
through the Dream Meetings with those who are about to die Hosan looks back
on his life and admits that his feud with his team members was due to his own
selfishness. After returning to his team when his community service is complete,
Hosan finds out that Jaesin colluded with a dangerous
power to dominate people using a dream router. Will Hosan be able to protect the patients’ dreams and his
love for Hyena? |
