Synopsis |
[Beginning] Yoo Jihye is
the Chief Financial Officer of JeJe Hair Salon, and illegal private loan
organization disguised as a beauty parlor. She makes the worst mistake of her
life when she mistakenly transfers $10 million dollars from the organization
to her friend Park Dasom. To make matters worse, Park Dasom disappears, and
she loses contact with her. After many twists and turns, she finds Dasom
again, but what is going on? Dasom has turned into a cold, lifeless body. The
whereabouts of the $10 million are unknown. [Middle] Choi Seonho
is investigating the murder of Park Dasom. He comes face to face with a
person who was caught at the crime scene under suspicious circumstances. Oh
my god. The suspect is none other than Yoo Jihye, his first love who
disappeared without a word 9 years ago. For a moment he is happy, but he has
a feeling Jihye is hiding something. Jihye has to risk her life to find
the $10 million. She steals the burner phone that Dasom had been using at the
scene of the crime. Then, a call comes to that phone. The strange, altered
voice coming through the phone identifies itself as ‘Snowman’. Jihye realizes that ‘Snowman’ killed Dasom and stole the $10 million. |

Synopsis |
Meanwhile, the first suspect in Park Dasom’s murder is questioned and commits suicide the next day. A flurry of
public opinion deems it a coercive investigation. Seonho, who arrested a
suspect prematurely, falls victim to public opinion and is placed on standby.
At the same time, Jihye finds circumstantial evidence that the money
was transferred from Park Dasom’s account
and visits the home of the account holder, only to find that it’s a den for escaped convicts. Jihye is on the verge
of being caught and violated by them. A flash of crisis. At that moment, Choi Seonho breaks in through the
window. He tries to rescue Jihye but is caught off guard by a knife flying
toward him. Jihye throws herself in front of the knife. Through this, Seonho learns Jihye’s secret. Perjury, destruction of evidence, a criminal gang, etc… Seonho struggles not to arrest her immediately.
Having lived as a police officer his entire life, he eventually decides he
will arrest Yoo Jihye, his first love and the criminal who saved his life, ‘later’. Then,
the two begin to hunt the ‘Snowman’ together. Meanwhile, another suspect in Park Dasom’s murder is caught. When Park Dasom’s finger is found in his house, the police take him away. However, he’s not the real culprit. Only Jihye and Seonho seem
to realize that fact. Then, who is ‘Snowman’, the real culprit who
killed Dasom? After struggling to find the answer together, the two find
clues about ‘Snowman’ through a seemingly insignificant opportunity. [Climax] Meanwhile, Kang Sanggu, the Hound of JeJe, finds out that $10 million
of company money has disappeared. After concluding that Jihye deliberately
stole the money, he visits the house with his lackeys. Kang Sanggu takes Himchan, Jihye’s only son, and Helen, her best friend, as hostages. Sanggu
interrogates Jihye as he points a knife at them. He wants to know the truth
about where the $10 million disappeared to. Kang Sanggu doesn’t believe
her claims that it was a mistaken remittance. He follows with a relentless
and terrible assault on Helen. Jihye feels a fire in her heart. The moment
Kang Sanggu lets down his guard, Jihye hits his head with a trophy she had
received from JeJe Hair Salon, thus incapacitating JeJe’s loyal hound. Jihye can’t go back to JeJe hair salon
now. Now that this had happened, the organization needed to be exposed to the
world and destroyed. Jihye hands over a USB to a producer at a broadcasting
station. The USB was left behind by Kwak Kibeom, the former Chief of Finance
at JeJe Hair Salon, who was killed three years ago after failing to expose
JeJe’s secrets to the media. Breaking news comes the next day. A huge scandal involving a large
number of political and business figures in South Korea. The reality of an
illegal money laundering organization disguised as a beauty salon is revealed
to the world. JeJe’s Director uses all of her personal connections to try and block the
news. Thinking that someone must have hacked the office PC, she turns on the
CCTV to find the culprit. However, she doesn’t find anything strange. There is no doubt that the culprit is Yoo
Jihye, the Chief of Finance standing right next to her. |
Synopsis |
Meanwhile, Seonho persistently tracks clues and uncovers the identity
of the Snowman. The Snowman is none other than Helen Kim! He also finds out
that his superior, Hwang Byeongchan, is her accomplice. At the same time, Jihye gets a call. [If you want to save Himchan, release Park Dasom’s frozen account.] The voice belonged to none other than Himchan’s English teacher and Jihye’s best friend, Helen Kim. After many twists and turns, Jihye unfreezes Dasom’s account. All the money in the account is then
deposited to Helen. Despite her demands, Helen doesn’t release Himchan. Team Leader Hwang Byeongchan tries to charge her of
dropping Jihye from a cliff and disguising it as a suicide as well as
murdering Dasom. Team Leader Hwang threatens for Jihye to jump off in order
to save Himchan. Jihye is on the edge of the cliff. She’s in a desperate crisis. She would do anything to save Himchan. Jihye steps off the cliff. But
how did this happen? It wasn’t her who
fell off the cliff, but Hwang Byeongchan. Helen had pushed him from behind. Helen also drops the tools used to kill Park Dasom from the cliff.
Helen looks relieved, as if everything was finally over. She continues to
behave bizarrely. The $10 million dollars they stole is also transferred back
to Jihye. "“Jihye, you like money. If you keep quiet, no one
will know.” Jihye is shocked, unable to understand what she is saying. “I’m sorry. I used you.” Those are Helen’s last
words before she leaves Jihye at the scene. [End] Seonho finds Himchan hidden in the home of the mother of Kwak Kibeom,
the old Chief of Finance of JeJe Hair Salon. He hears about Helen Kim from
the mother. Helen was adopted to the United States at the age of 12. She returned
to Korea at the age of 40 after being diagnosed with a terminal disease. She
wanted to find her brother, with whom she held the precious memory of
building a snowman together. That memory sustained her through life. She finally found her brother, Kwak
Kibeom. Helen tried to identify herself as his long-lost sister. That day,
her brother was killed. Helen decided to take revenge. Thus, the motive of
her crime, which was planned and prepared as revenge for her brother, is finally
revealed. |
