   A one-night deviation, she ended up with a sweet guy and thought it would end there.

 The temptation of this man, with his soft eyes and deep dimples full of spring innocence, penetrates Chaewon’s heart mercilessly. 

“But did you know this, Chaewon? There is no reversing physical contact.” 

He is persistent with his temptation, unaware of the backwardness. 

This man shows the true art of seduction. Will she be able to resist it until the end?

3. Characters

  (1) Han Chaewon (25)

2^nd year graduate student. 

She has been suffering a lot because her boyfriend of 7 years had an affair. 

She declared a firm farewell to her cheating boyfriend but has not been able to shake off the breakup. 

She tries to break away for the first time in her life but becomes confused after learning the identity of the other party.

  (2) Lee Jeongseok (31)

After the murder of his biological mother, he was adopted by his mother’s close friend and lived a normal life. 

He has a brighter and more friendly personality than anyone else. 

Then one day, he meets a girl who is like a ray of light in his dark past. 

At first, he just wanted to be close to her. But it seemed like life had other plans.

  (3) Byun Yoohyuk (25)

Chaewon’s ex-boyfriend who Chaewon finds out has been cheating on her with a girl she called childhood friend. 

He didn’t even blink after breaking up because he firmly believed she would come back. 

However, Chaewon has a new boyfriend.

  (4) Yoon Jeonghee

Chaewon’s biological mother. She knew Chaewon got a new boyfriend but didn’t know who it was at first. 

Once she finds out, she opposes Chaewon and Jeongseok’s relationship because she thinks he is the son of a murderer.

  (5) Ahn Mijoo

Jeongseok’s adoptive mother. The couple, who had no children of their own, adopted Jeongseok after his mother died and raised him like her biological child. 

One day, Jeongseok is heartbroken after his past causes problems with his current girlfriend.

4. Story Summary

  (1)

   Chaewon, wandering lost at the end of her seven-year relationship, is comforted by her old friend Heejung, who proposes they share a table with a stranger at a drinking party. 

Chaewon unexpectedly accepted but could not stand the sorrow of parting and immediately left the bar. 

However, Jeongseok followed her and listened to her story. 

Just before they part, Chaewon drunkenly makes the shocking statement that she wants to be with him, and an embarrassed Jeongseok accepts right away. 

After their night of deviation, Chaewon, who thought she would never see Jeongseok again, is embarrassed when she runs into him at a conference… but there is a bigger problem than their chance meeting. 

Chaewon was shocked at the fact that he was going to be a new face living in the laboratory, but that still wasn’t the end. 

This man, who she wanted to avoid, showed up in the house next to hers.

   Chaewon tries hard to draw a line between them, but it isn’t easy. 

The courage to push him away gradually disappears. Then her ex-boyfriend, Byun Yoohyuk, comes to her when she is upset. 

In front of the villa, she says all kinds of harsh words to Yoohyuk and somehow, Jeongseok overhears. 

Jeongseok is disappointed by the shocking sound, and Chaewon tries to comfort him but is unable to catch him. 

Just like that, things become awkward between the two. 

Then one day, Jeongseok gets into an accident during an experiment, and Chaewon visits him in the hospital and confesses her feelings.

   So, the two begin dating. 

Their secret relationship in the lab is both scary and thrilling. 

Chaewon thought that only happy things would be in her future with graduation just around the corner. 

Until one day, her mother suddenly comes to her house. 

Chaewon was at Jeongseok’s house and tries to hurry home in embarrassment but runs into her mother on her way out of Jeongseok’s house. 

Jeongseok and her mother meet by chance and exchange awkward greetings, but it turns out her mother recognizes Jeongseok. 

Jeongseok decides that he can’t keep his identity secret any longer and resolves to tell Chaewon. 

He tries to confess to her on the day he comes back from a business trip, but her mother already figured out his identity and tells Chaewon to break up with him right away.

   Chaewon finds out about Jeongseok’s identity from her mother but she isn’t upset about it. 

Rather, she tried to embrace Jeongseok’s heart, and Jeongseok is relieved that she finally knows who he is. 

However, since her mother knows all about his past she tries to separate them. Jeongseok, seeing all the trouble she is going through, thinks he can no longer maintain the relationship and decides to break up with Chaewon. 

However, he continuously visits her mother to try and ask for her permission to be with Chaewon. 

Not knowing this, Chaewon eventually visits him crying and begging, but eventually gives up when she sees his resolve.

   Half a year after graduation, Chaewon who had broken up with Jeongseok and moved on had not seen his face for half a year. 

However, Chaewon’s heart still hasn’t moved on. 

One day, she visits the lab on Teacher’s Day but is unable to see the face she wants to see. 

However, on the way home, she ran into him by chance and became even more heartbroken when she couldn’t see the cold side of him that broke up with her. 

Chaewon gains enlightenment at a drinking party with Heejung and decides to approach Jeongseok, but first she decides to persuade her mother and asks her for permission to meet him. 

Only then does she find out everything he’s been up to. 

Chaewon’s mother was shaken by Jeongseok’s constant persistence, so when Chaewon also approaches her she eventually allows the two to meet.
