Synopsis

2. Summary

- Beginning : After dying in a car accident, a girl is reborn as the female lead in the work ‘Ayla is Lovely’ and despairs over being an orphan just like in her previous life, but eventually she resigns myself to this life and decides to survive. She spends her life being bullied and persecuted in her village and the orphanage for her black hair. However, she then discovers that she actually possessed the body of Erita Krobahatz, daughter of Aslan Krobahatz, who was the villain in the original story, and she heads to the Grand Duchy with him. She feels a little guilty that she’s stealing someone else’s place, but she can’t refuse the love of Aslan and Aylen because she craved such familial love.

Meanwhile, Aslan finds out that the imperial family was responsible for the accident that caused him to lose his wife and daughter 7 years ago. After finding evidence that the empress committed the crime, Aslan vows revenge and officially announces that he has recovered Erita. One year later, the first meeting between the male and female leads happens at the funeral of the male lead’s mother, the queen. It is also at this time that the male lead, the second prince, asks Aslan for help. 

- Climax : Seven years later, the 17 year old heroine goes to the capital to prepare for her debut. On the way, she encounters the second prince multiple times while he’s hiding his identity. At the debutant’s ball, the conflict between the first and second princes intensifies when the emperor announces that he will appoint whoever is more qualified to be the crown prince. Then, the heroine finds out that the man she met on the streets is the second prince. After that, the second prince and female lead continue to run into each other and notice the subtle feelings that begin to arise. The first prince, unaware of the empress’s crime, believes the heroine would be a good match for him and is also interested in her. It is difficult for her to say no to official occasions or parties.

The second prince is definitely aware of her feelings. The emperor’s health declines and the struggle for the throne intensifies. The reason for the emperor’s health deteriorating is that the empress and first prince decided to poison him. However, the cleverly manipulate the second prince into the task by fabricating evidence.
