3. Characters

(1) Seo Dojoon (Male, 34)

Great appearance, good brain, a perfect man who doesn’t miss a thing in his family. Trauma caused by terrible events of the past became a turning point in his life.

Dojoon who left his house and was full of rebellion, enters the entertainment industry and meets manager Jeong Hwamok.

After two years, Dojoon decided he was not cut out for learning and decided to start an agency with Hwamok.

A man of unfiltered and unruly talk and a tiger-like ability to scold who becomes an object of fear to everyone.

Aside from his pride and perfectionist tendencies, he has a fatal flaw.

(2) Jeong Hwamok (Female, 30)

Aside from her sense of loyalty and justice, a corpse-like girl who decides to become the temporary manager of a man at the recommendation of her father, the director.

When she found out that it was better than she thought and that she and Dojoon were compatible, she decided to stay with him forever.

Meanwhile, Junhoo, who thought that Jeong Hwamok’s director’s words would be enough to convince Dojoon, intentionally approaches Hwamok.

4. Story Summary

(1) The Beginning of Jealousy and Realization of Emotions

Dojoon finds out that his manager of 2 years and partner of 8 years has a boyfriend.

He gets shocked by the wedding ring on her finger.

He tried to dissuade her from marriage because he thought it would disrupt business but knowing that her priorities have changed, Dojoon decides to take time to reflect on his feelings.

Moreover, Hwamok is shaken by Dojoon’s sudden actions.

(2) The Beginning of a Relationship

Dojoon, who quickly realizes Junhoo’s plan, hands all the evidence of Junhoo’s atrocities to his friend Choi Taeyoung so that Junhoo can’t make a comeback ever again.

However, Dojoon only reveals a fraction of the misdeeds he knows about, too afraid of hurting Hwamok.

On the other hand, Hwamok is confused by the presence of another woman near Dojoon and finally admits her feelings.

And so, her relationship with Junhoo is ended and Hwamok and Dojoon start dating.

(3) Tangled Trauma

The person who caused Dojoon’s trauma appears at the company and everything is thrown into chaos.

A shameless and ignorant woman appears and causes a commotion but asks the staff to keep it a secret from Dojoon, who wasn’t there at the time.

However, Dojoon hears about the incident and refuses to let it go and goes to meet her. While Hwamok is waiting for Dojoon’s call, she confirms that Dojoon has fallen in the kitchen of the house where he experienced trauma.

Realizing that she can’t just stand by and watch, Hwamok visits his doctor in person to learn how to treat his trauma.

She tries to cure his illness and Dojoon changes little by little with her efforts.

(4) Unable to Reach You

In the meantime, Dojoon proposes to Hwamok and she accepts.

But when having a relationship in the workplace becomes burdensome, Dojoon eventually returns to his father Chairman Seo’s company.

When the news of Hwamok’s marriage to Dojoon is announced, she suffers from malicious comments and rumors.

Moreover, as Hwamok goes up as a representative she is continuously pushed out of competition rankings, while Dojoon only becomes more and more successful as executive director of Juseong Group.

He clings to his work like crazy, but Hwamok slowly begins to lose confidence in them as she feels their worlds are slowly becoming more and more different.

Hwamok eventually breaks down and bids farewell.

She has been thinking about going back to Seoul for half a year but always failed.

One day, she runs into Dojoon who came looking for her and she hears shocking news. Worried about losing him forever, she returns to Seoul to catch him.
