◎ Summary
Jiyeol fled fearing Park Jongho’s retaliation but is found and brutally beaten by Park Jongho’s men in his hotel room and brought home.
As Jiyeol accepts his death, he realizes that his death is going to be covered up as carbon monoxide poisoning while his consciousness is fading.
Contrary to his belief, however, he doesn’t die and wakes up to find Lee An’s twin sister Lee Yul, who looks just like him, sitting in front of him.
Jiyeol finds that he doesn’t have his cell phone, the internet and TV don’t work, and they are trapped there, but he thinks that he can’t give up and leave Lee Yul.
Park Jongho intended to kill him, but Eileen Kang, who knows of the relationship between the two, comes to Park Jongho and suggests a deal. She believes that Seo Jiyeol and Lee Yul will soon sleep together since they are trapped in an enclosed space and proposes that they broadcast them inside the house and induce bets among the people watching. Eileen uses her connections to attract world-class conglomerates and celebrities, and without Jiyeol and Lee Yul knowing, a game begins.
Matilde, a competent businessman, accidentally learns of a secret betting event and receives the password to start betting while watching Jiyeol and Lee Yul in real time. Contrary to expectations, Jiyeol fails to approach Lee Yul because of his overwhelming guilt, and nothing happens between the two. It frustrates the group of people watching as they are not used to losing. Seo Jiyeol uses the phone given to him by Matilde to ask for help from his acquaintances, but one among them is loyal to Park Jongho and the news gets back to him. Jiyeol, who had been beaten mercilessly by Park Jongho and his gang, moves to another place with Lee Yul, and those who had been watching find themselves cheering for the two.
Jiyeol uses what he knows to come between Park Jongho and Eileen, and a select few viewers think that Park Jongho has stolen their money. Park Jongho is killed by members of a global crime syndicate, and Eileen struggles to escape, realizing that she is next.
Lee Yul, who had a history of mental illness, suffers several panic attacks as their captivity continued, but Jiyeol became her mental support and promises that he will stay by her side. Jiyeol thinks that the situation should be ended for Lee Yul’s sake, so he uses the fact that the show is being broadcast and claims that Eileen fabricated the bet. Eileen then realizes that her life depends on Seo Jiyeol.
Eileen visits Jiyeol using the same method that Matilde did and begs him to say that his previous statement was not true, offering him all the money from the bet.
Eileen earned 300 million Swiss Francs, equal to nearly 400 billion won. Jiyeol accepts the offer, and an employee from the bank confirms that the new owner of Eileen’s account is Lee Yul.
The two are released from custody but continue to report updates in their lives at the request of people who wanted to continue watching the broadcast.
Seo Jiyeol once again talks about his past mistakes and urges people to investigate those who were involved with Park Jongho.
Lee Yul sees off Seo Jiyeol as he went in for his investigation, and upon entering he finds Lee An standing among the people. At first, he thinks he’s mistaken, but then Lee An and Lee Yul appear in front of him after the investigation. News of Lee An’s death had spread without confirmation, and the misleading news was not reversed. Seo Jiyeol is not indicted and the three leave for Switzerland together.
